As Executive Director of Trading at Verdence, Jason is responsible for overseeing trade operations and executing personalized services for clients’ investment and planning needs. In his role, Jason also manages Verdence Family Office transactions.
Jason takes pride in the speed and accuracy with which he and his team can currently execute trades to meet clients’ goals and needs. He understands the importance of risk and profitability in each. Jason and his team work together to drive process improvements, technology, and enhanced security with the goal to make trades more and more efficient for each client.
Outside of the office, Jason is an avid baseball fan. He enjoys spending his free time coaching his son’s club baseball team and collecting baseball cards and memorabilia.
At Verdence, Michael is responsible for managing and monitoring investment solutions and he serves as a steward of the overall due diligence platform. He contributes macro views, evaluates new investment opportunities, and monitors risk management.
Prior to joining Verdence, Michael spent nearly two decades in the institutional investment advisory industry.
Most recently, he served as Senior Investment Director within the Capital Markets Research team at Cambridge Associates LLC, where he was responsible for global developed market public equities and contributed to the firm’s asset allocation strategy.
As Chief Investment Officer, Megan leads Verdence research efforts and determines our economic viewpoint. She heads the Verdence Investment Committee and sets strategic asset allocations made within client portfolios.
She is one of the financial media’s go-to resources for all things markets and investing, as a regular contributor on Fox Business, CNBC, Bloomberg, and Yahoo Finance.
Prior to joining Verdence, Megan served as a Director and Senior Investment Strategist at Deutsche Bank for 12 years. While at Deutsche Bank, she was a key member of several global and regional investment committees for the Wealth Management Division. She started her career at Legg Mason within the Fixed Income Research and Strategy group.
Serving as Managing Director of Verdence/RIA+, Matt leads the design and implementation of Verdence’s Outsourced Chief Investment Office offering, a complex research solution set for B2B clients which seeks to fuel their company’s growth. Additionally, Matt specializes in structuring and negotiating unique private investments—real asset, private equity, and private credit—opportunities for qualified clients, designed to help enhance their portfolios. Before joining Verdence, Matt worked as a Regional Director at Fortigent and previously served as Vice President for Fidelity Investments Private Access Group.
Matt is also the host of “Alternate View” Podcast where he and guest fund managers discuss practical insights into a wide range of alternative assets including real estate, infrastructure, commodities, hedge funds, private debt, private equity, and more.
As an Alternative Fund Specialist at Verdence, Emily provides a wide variety of client and support services, assisting the advisory and executive teams. Whether it’s a reporting or technology challenge, Emily drives toward solutions that help our team and our clients.
Prior to joining the team, Emily served as an Operations Analyst at Morgan Stanley. She holds a bachelor’s degree in financial economics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). During her tenure at UMBC, she was a mentor for the Economic Council of Majors and also served as an English teacher during mission trips in Romania and India.
Nick supports the Chief Investment Officer through research and analysis of the macroeconomy and individual asset classes. He assists in researching macro-economic trends and how they relate to a client’s asset allocation as well as helping to monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation models, and manager performance.
Nick holds a Business Administration degree from Towson University, with a concentration in Finance.
He was also a team member and coach for Towson’s Men’s Division 1 ACHA Ice Hockey team.
As a Verdence Analyst, Andrew assists in researching macroeconomic trends and how they relate to clients’ asset allocation as well as helping to monitor portfolio model performance.
Prior to joining Verdence, Andrew was an Equity Analyst at Vantage Private Wealth. He is a former DIII Football player at Tufts University where he earned a degree in Economics with a double minor in Finance and Entrepreneurship, and he served as Treasurer of the Zeta Psi fraternity.
