Maryland Saves is a new state-wide mandate requiring all MD businesses with at least one W-2 employee to have a retirement offering for employees. Businesses that follow these new guidelines by Dec. 31st of this year will have their annual $300 SDAT filing fee waived.

These new regulations can be complex to understand and have some important nuances to be aware of. Most importantly, if you would like to offer EMPLOYER contributions for your employees, you may choose from a few different options for retirement plan offerings.
